Memo notebook: Birds in wisteria, Janneke Brinkman

A handy notepad for a quick scribble or jotting down a really not-to-be-forgotten reminder. The cut-off angle of 45 degrees keeps the image generously displayed while preserving disc space. The front of a memo sheet is printed in full colour in the margin, the back is blank for even more writing space. The sheets of the Memo notepad are firmly glued and yet very easy, without tearing, to remove from the block.

ABOUT THE ARTIST, JANNEKE BRINKMAN: Janneke Brinkman (born 1948) is a specialist in botanical painting. She completed her studies in biology at the Free University in Amsterdam. There she discovered her talent for drawing very precisely and in detail. She challenges herself to get flowers botanically right on paper. Most of all, she loves harmoniously combining science and art. She uses the watercolour technique because it is very suitable for rendering the bright colours of flowers and plants well. With her work, she wants to highlight the beauty and fragility of our nature
